Please read the following policies as they are important for your massage therapy session. If you have any questions on any of the items, please ask for clarification.
Upon initial visit, please arrive early to fill out the intake form to give consent to the massage and that way both parties are covered and expectations are known.
All clients will be draped with a sheet at all times with a sheet, and only the body part being worked on will be uncovered.
Client understands that a 24 hours notice cancellation is required; otherwise client will be required to pay for the original session for either a late cancellation or missed appointment. Client understands that they are to come to massage session showered or bathed. Client, if using insurance coverage to receive the massage, will bill the insurance company directly. Cancellation/No-show policy: Time is a very limited commodity, once lost it can not be regained. My massage therapy practice, a time-dependent business, is run by appointments. This assures you of your hour massage and that your appointment will be on time. Seldom, if ever, do we start late, If you are late, the appointment will still end at the appointed hour, which penalizes you and not the person scheduled after you. That is only fair! If you find it necessary to cancel or change your appointment, please allow at least 24 hours notice. Any missed appointments less than 24 hours in advance will obligate you to pay for the originally scheduled hour. Should a subsitute be found to fill your appointment, no charge will be made for the missed appointment. I will not double dip. I will go out of my way to be fair- and you are expected to do the same. Fortunately, this policy has not been abused since I have been in practice. In fact, most clients have voluntarily paid for their missed appointments. It is an embarassing situation to have to enforce this policy, but that is business. Should you feel that this policy is unreasonable, please feel free to discuss it with me. I value our relationship and hope that we can continue it on a professional and sound basis. Hopefully, you benefit from your massage as much as I enjoy having you as one of my clients!
CASH ,CHECKS, Credit transactions through square.com are accepted. If check bounces, the client agrees to pay a $20 service fee, as well as any additional fines the therapist may incur as a result. **The industry standard of a one hour massage includes the initial 5 minute consultation, 50 minutes hands-on time, and 5 minutes for consult, payments and getting dressed.
Gratuity is usually between 10-20% is always optional, but always appreciated.
HOUSE CALLS- Dependent upon circumstances, location, amount of persons,availability and time. House calls
are subject to an added fee which includes gas, transportation, and packing of equiptment and supplies.*** NOT AT THIS TIME**
